Proven operating principle
The tried-and-tested baffle plate flow measurement principle is based on a movable disruptive body (baffle plate, baffle plate, paddle, pendulum) that is deflected by the flow. The deflection angle is mechanically transmitted to a switching or measuring unit. It is a measure of the flow in the pipeline.
Small-scale contamination of the medium does not affect the measurement.
The baffle plate flow measuring principle is a particularly safe measuring system, since the movement is transmitted from the baffle plate to the measuring unit.
Baffle plate measuring devices are used to monitor low-viscosity and low-viscosity media as well as gaseous media. They are also suitable for medium to large flow volumes up to 75,000 l / min with pipe sizes up to DN 600.
Flow measurement and monitoring using baffle plate measurement technology is a technically simple, safe and inexpensive method. A particularly good price-performance ratio results when mounting on large pipes.
