If fast liquid volume measurement with high resolution is required, turbine flowmeters are the ideal solution. Turbine flow meters are therefore particularly suitable for filling processes. But the robust devices are also insensitive to vibrations and shocks in applications in continuous operation.
The measuring principle of turbine flow meters
A turbine wheel is set in rotation in the tube by the medium flowing through it. The rotational speed of the axial turbine wheel is proportional to the flow speed. There are ferrites in the rotor blades of the turbine wheel, which generate pulses that are displayed electronically.
