With the bypass level indicator type BNA, fill levels are continuously displayed without auxiliary energy. Individual design and corrosion-resistant materials enable a wide range of applications for liquids. A wide variety of different process connections, explosion-proof versions and the potential attachment of sensors and magnetic switches expand the area of application.

Functionality

The bypass level indicator type BNA consists of a bypass chamber, which is attached to the side of a container as a communicating tube via at least 2 process connections (flange, threaded or welded socket). With this installation method, the level in the bypass chamber corresponds to the level in the tank. The float with built-in permanent magnet system in the bypass chamber transmits the liquid level without contact to the magnetic display mounted on the outside of the bypass chamber. Two-color plastic rollers or stainless steel flaps with inserted bar magnets are stored in this at intervals of 10 mm.

Due to the magnetic field of the permanent magnet system in the float, the display elements are rotated through the wall of the bypass chamber by 180 °. With rising level from white to red, with falling level from red to white.
This means that the fill level of a container is visibly displayed on the bypass level indicator without auxiliary energy.
